Current Project

Nanocrystal Biolabelling

This project aims to develop QD-protein conjugates for employment as targeted fluorescent probes in a range of biological investigations.
Previous Positions

2008 - Nanotechnology Victoria Pty Ltd. (work placement)
My focus within the company was in medical imaging and diagnostics, with one of the major activities in this portfolio being the development of nanoparticulate metal contrast agents for enhanced medical imaging. The project aimed to investigate the feasibility of gold nanoparticles as a replacement for the current iodine-based compounds used as X-ray contrast media.
