Education

2009 – present
PhD student at the University of Melbourne.

2008
Applied Chemistry (Honours) at RMIT University
Honours thesis: ‘Chemistry of formation of a solid oxide fuel cell electrolyte (Yttria-Stabilized Zirconia)'

The project involved studying the chemistry of a precipitation reaction used by Ceramic Fuel Cells Ltd (CFCL) to prepare a mixed metal oxide (Yttria-Stabilised Zirconia) for use as an electrolyte material in fuel cells. The reaction was studied using FTIR-ATR and reaction intermediates were postulated by studying changes in the FTIR spectra obtained.

2005 – 2007
Bachelor of Applied Science (Nanotechnology) at RMIT University.

2003 – 2004
Chemical Engineering at RMIT University.
